All quiet in the Kidlitosphere

Usually when I wake up in the morning, my feed reader shows at least a few new posts in the blogs I read regularly. But this morning, there are no new blog posts for me to read. All is quiet in the Kidlitosphere. It's as if we're holding our collective breath, waiting for the announcement of the Cybils shortlists beginning in about 15 minutes, at 9:15. Or maybe it's just that everyone is still asleep after too much New Year's Eve partying. It's hard to say.
