"It was a dark and stormy night." This year is the 50th anniversary of one of my favorite books, A Wrinkle in Time. Listening Library/Random House Audio is releasing a new audiobook version tomorrow. Here's a sample. Update: the widget wasn't working, but it has been corrected and should work now.
Oh. Sigh. I would reread this book, but I fear it would not speak to me in the same way. Maybe I will instead try to get more students to read it.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean, Ms. Yingling. Some childhood favorites just don't hold up when you reread them as adults, and I'm always nervous about reading a book I remember fondly from my younger days.
